While most ex-Service personnel transition to civilian life successfully, some have difficulties finding suitable accommodation. Finding suitable accommodation is considered a key indicator of successful transition and access to stable housing is a key factor influencing transition outcomes. Therefore, this theme covers resources, articles, and documents, related to housing, accommodation, and homelessness. This includes the housing needs of those who may be particularly vulnerable (e.g., bereaved families, Foreign and Commonwealth ex-Service personnel with families, families transitioning from overseas postings, and those medically discharged), accommodation needs of single veterans, understanding causes of homelessness and routes out, and understanding housing support needs and solutions.
