The UK Psychological Trauma Society is holding its 2024 Annual Conference on "Trauma Care: Towards an Integrated Approach" on Friday 19th January 2024 at Wolfson College, University of Oxford.
The conference will focus on the challenges and opportunities of providing inclusive and integrated care with the aim of meeting the needs of people suffering the effects of psychological trauma. The programme will include talks on military research, along with sessions on inclusion and biomedical and socio-economic perspectives of trauma care. UK and international keynote speakers will cover topics such as psychedelics, functional disorders in children and adults, a new model of trauma management in primary care, equality, resilience, and wearable technology.
Attendees will represent the psychotraumatology and healthcare fields, encompassing primary and secondary care, civilian and military populations, philosophy and politics.
